Not Scary, Nice marks the third instalment in YR4 Records’ Club Series and Lucie’s debut release. The two tracks — My Luv and Humdrum — were written during the earliest stage of her production journey, capturing the raw, exploratory approach that defines her sound. Drawing from a lifelong relationship with music and early influences in 2000s electronic sound, Lucie favours instinct over polish, working from a minimal setup that foregrounds texture and feeling. The result sits between reflective nostalgia and dancefloor energy: direct, unfiltered and true to its origin.
