SENDME2HEAVEN is the first release on YR4 Records — the debut document of a UK–German collective formed across borders and completed in real time. Made up of Alex Headford (Jadu Heart), Joel Schwander (Bleac), Cameron Tomlinson (Endeavour), Jurek Stricker (Donkey Kid), and producer Torin Umbrigar, the self-proclaimed boy band emerged from a Berlin Live From Earth writing camp before fully forming during a week-long retreat in the British countryside. The album was written and recorded in just seven days, with the group living and working together in isolation. Early sessions — including a spontaneous one-mic, one-take vocal recording between Headford and Stricker — set the tone for a process built on improvisation and trust. The release preserves those original recordings: instinctive, unpolished captures shaped by proximity and collaboration. Drawing on lo-fi electronics, post-pop textures, and raw vocal fragments, SENDME2HEAVEN balances experimentation with emotional immediacy. The result is less a polished studio construction than a snapshot of five artists discovering a shared language in real time.
